I went to Travis Perkins on sat and he asked "where's the Maser".

I replied "The seats don't fold down so I have to collect timber in this one".

I reckon a few bags of cement just means the traction light comes on less often smile
rofl So not only do you use it in the wet, you'd happily use it as a pickup too!? Haha

I know a guy who knows a guy with a Zonda and they drove it in the wet.
He said that he could not get it going in a straight line!
Yeah, there was one at Goodwood recently who turned up in the rain. Not sure if it's the same chap or not, but I think it's great when you see cars like this turn up at meets with a bit of muck on them! BIG RESPECT to them for braving it...

This was the first time I ever drove the F1 over 10 miles

Showed up some issues with the light seals though....

Zonda by comparison, very easy to drive in the wet. Of all the cars I've driven the F40 still the scariest proposition when the weather turns.
Could I see some photos of your garage, I have seen what you have but no photos.

Now this thread is getting interesting!!! yes
I'd be scared of an F40 in the dry, let alone in the wet...

This is the one that was at the last Goodwood meet. My mates took the day off from work to go and left me stuck holding the fort, so they sent me a vid of my favourite car... In the rain!!!

The running joke is, that if you find yourself making the engine noise (like a kid) of the car you want, you'll never actually buy it!? I think this is a safe bet with this one... laugh

My F40 is OK in the wet...as long as I don't spool the turbos!

I've had a few 'moments'...but that's what we pay for isn't it?!

Totally different calibre to some of the offerings, but I've been using the 360 almost daily for the last few months...

I'd never set out the use my FGT in the rain but if it rained it wouldn't worry me too much.

Classics I won't use in the rain though.....They need to be mint and it takes too long to get them back that way
