Afternoon Gents,

I'm currently re looking into the world of buying the above, most likely to do around 12k p/a.

As part of my man maths speadsheet I have a costing for fuel as a part of it.

What MPG will a Granturismo give at a steady 70 on the motorway? Is it low 20's or will it creep into the mid 20's?

It may creep up to mid 20's...but do you reallllllly drive along at a constant 70?

I have the auto 4.7 which has longer gearing and average 21mpg but this varies between 13 and 28. It is actually pretty economical in normal motorway use.

IMHO one buys this car for the sound biggrin I did. To get that sound you need to keep it in SPORT mode...I do smile

Around town 10mpg
On a run 16mpg

Never seen higher and with my foot don't think I really will.

Buy one and you will soon forget about what MPG means they are magnificent cars biggrin

That's what I thought until I heard the damn thing! wink

IMHO there is nothing that sounds like an MC Shift in Sport Mode especially when travelling through side roads with the sound bouncing off buildings smile

I used mine as a daily drive and over the 12,000 miles I had the car it showed an average of 16.9 mpg. Daily commute was about 12 miles on dual carriage way 2 miles at each end in start stop traffic each way.

Longer journeys pull the average up, but a few miles down country lanes and all the good is undone........

I have had 24mpg from my MC Shift on a long run but usually average 16 to 18 mpg.
It's the best sounding car that I have ever heard. smile

You'll probably never find out, as you'll spend the first year with the windows down gassing it between 60 and 80.

And even if you do find out, you won't care.

If you are concerned about mpg I don't think you should buy an MC shift.

My local petrol station knows my first name and life history better than my wife.

This, sadly. If you're worried about fuel consumption then you'll be in for a shock when something needs fixing.
