What's the scoop? Do tell? I've heard nothing for months now, so am guessing it won't happen for me.....

I don't know full details, just been advised by someone in the know that production starts late 2016, with only a handful of cars expected to come to UK.

Any dealers who have taken customer deposits are being advised to refund them as Ford will announce their distribution strategy next year.

I had a call a week or so ago asking if I was still interested and explaining which dealership (local to me) might be handling the sales. Nothing concrete yet though...

So nothing new then, the application process was always going to start next year and there will be only up to 20 cars coming to the UK out of the 900, I've heard if you own a 2005/6 car and use it you have a good chance. Woohoo!

900? I thought it was 250 per year and no one knows how long for exactly but the thinking is 3-4 years?

Massively jealous of anyone that does get one, and I'd love to think they won't become collectors items with silly prices in future but they probably will. Ah well.

so 250 cars x 4 years is 1000 cars, minus 100 for delays in production and when racing cars need rebuilt or replaced during race seasons = 900. or so im told smile
