I didn't think twice about the colour! but no, the Williams car is not the same as the Edinburgh one, which I bought after it was in the dealer up there for only a matter of weeks. Colour looks awesome in the flesh.

I have to agree - what a colour!

Personally I wouldn't buy quarter of a million quids worth of Aventador from some random dealer who fancies a punt on one.

This one is overpriced.

Best thing they could do (assuming it actually exists and isn't just to make their website look good) is bite the bullet and trade it back into a Lambo Dealer (will feel some pain) who will have a better chance of finding a buyer.

Could be the selling dealers owner just fancied one to drive about in as his own personal ride, so this masquerades as stock (to avoid any benefit in kind tax) until he wants to sell it on.

I've been watching Aventadors like a hawk in recent months, many aren't seriously for sale (Redline seem to have his mates Aventadors advertised, yet they are still driving about in them), totally overpriced (all the Roadsters bar the yellow one Amari has for sale, which prob doesn't exist) or small dealers who fancied one themselves but are now stuck with stock that they are going to take a bath on unless they trade them (like the 14 plate yellow one that has been dropping by £1k per week for weeks now, but is sat next to a load of £3-10k sheds on a forecourt in Bedford)

Probably the most accurate insight into the trade I've read on PH.
Brutaly true.

When I bought mine I enquired about 3 or 4, two were already sold or didn't exist. The same request for my details follows and I've no doubt that led to a few calls to various owners to see if they could shake a deal out of it.

It is a physical car. The owner has been pootling about Cardiff in it for months. He also has / had a yellow 458.

It looks lovely in the metal.

So its on SOR - that's why it is not selling. Owner just put in on SOR while he uses the car, and if he gets lucky with a naive buyer, the deal will be done. Complete waste of time for any would be buyer.
