I saw that XJR15 at Silverstone. It was great seeing and hearing it.

I was driving my Lamborghini Espada over that weekend and a few days before and covered about 1000 miles. Like the last post I spent a lot of time in petrol stations. It was only averaging about 15mpg and whilst there are 20 gallon tanks they do need filling often!

Sounds like a great trip Paul, especially for the suppliers of Premium-grade petrol! I have been following the Espada thread with keen interest!

I have been keeping the petrol business going for too many years! If I filled up all the family and collection cars i need 765 Litlres. Scary!!!!!
There was a lovely dark red 220 on the Lambo stand on Sunday. Was it yours? There is a lady in the Lambo club who has one among her many other lovely cars, and wasn't sure if it was her. I didn't see her that day.

Did a rough calc and you seem to have about 70 cylinders to feed...that's a lot of petrol...ever calculated total CC or BHP...?!
Wasn't my car on the stand (mine is blue) so quite probably was hers.
Look forward to reading more about the Espada, an all-time favourite of mine.

300 miles around Devon and Somerset in Speciale.
Saw a nice Espada on way home in Wiltshire on A303 at about 7.30pm.
Anyone on here ?

Since you asked! Of the 12 cars in the family, many of which are small cars like a 207 etc

76 Cylinders
32.5 Litres capacity
2390 bhp

Of the 4 big old cars

40 cylinders
17.6 Litlres
1415 bhp

Went to the Mitton Hall super car meet then off to nice pub in Downham for cracking lunch before a rapid return cross country home. Great day out on not such a nice summer day!

Absolutely love how the Tuscan still holds a candle (looks wise) to cars costing 7 or 8 times as much.....

That's a great mix of cars to take on a cross-country trip - who argued their case for the best car best?

I'd struggle to pick one of those for that kind of journey......any chance of a de-brief via separate thread?

Probably take the DBS IMHO.
I bloody loved that DBS, been in it a few times! Bloody pillock just sold his DBS Volante (carbon edition) in I think Carbon grey..... for a 2011 SL63 AMG, About as quick, but lacks the look and aural drama of a v12. SL rear more lively too.
