I honestly wouldn't swap those two for a Porsche Turbo, you will regret that, it's not the car it's cracked up to be.
Keep the Ferrari, get something cheap and mundane for daily stuff and make a lot more effort to enjoy the F Car, plus you can kill the finance. If your GF isn't interested then just get more "you time" for the Ferrari and take her out in the snotter.

I can't believe a 28 year old doesn't know what to do with his Ferrari confused
This!

I was 27 when I bought my first fezza and the only reason didn't drive it was to eat drink and sleep...

...and some other stuff...

If your mrs hates being in the ferrari, what makes you think being in the R8 will be much different?

I know one is a super car and one isn't... but if she absolutely detests the ferrari now she's still not going to enjoy the slightly less attention she gets in the Audi is she?

I do have my doubts as to whether your g/f would embrace an R8 in the way you would want given her dislike of the Fezza. I would suggest a Maser GranCabrio MC Stradale if you want a convertible. As has been said before, the Masers are quite g/f friendly and a great piece of kit to drive, certainly not dull but can also do the DD duties as well.Failing that you might actually ask her if she has a view and if you don't get an answer you like reckon you might need to keep the 430 and get a new g/f!

I'm in a similar situation and stage of life to yourself. My 360 Spider sits at my parents house and I have to drive 240 miles every 2 weeks just to go and start her up and keep everything working as it should.

I assume that you live closer to your Ferrari, but if that's considered too much hassle then maybe owning something like a 430 isn't for you.

For me it's worth it, but I can understand it's not for everyone.

Perhaps a more subtle coloured (I'm thinking grey scale) 911 would be a better all rounder that you and your girlfriend can enjoy?

Just drive your F car whenever you fancy it and your gf can either walk or get a taxi or just leave...I would not swap it for a 911 turbo - too sensible and not, IMHO, exotic enough for a weekend drive

I've done the picture comparison test with almost every woman that I know. Categorically, they've all thought Fezs are flash but that Astons are beautiful. Attention is also usually of the right kind. For 90k consider a DBS or Virage convertible. Gorgeous cars.

+1
The Astons have a certain class which the hand made Fezs posess.
I would also include a mint 928 GT / GTS in this category. All the women comment how nice they ride. Currently the 5.4 litre is a bargain.

Does driving a snotter daily make the weekend car feel more 'exciting'?

I appreciate a C63 isn't a Ferrari, but it's loud and quick....why not chop it in for an oil burning E-class or something, and keep the F430 - it'll be reborn?!

Like you I have an F430 but only drive it socially and when the sun is shining. I'm 30 and spend half my time looking at the weather forecast to see when the suns due out!

My girlfriend loves the car but doesn't like the attention it gets and even I am surprised the amount it gets as it's literally ever minute.

Love it to pieces though and I think if you replace it with an R8 you would be disappointed.

You've obviously worked hard to get out of finance on the Ferrari

So I wouldn't swap them both for a higher valued car and have finance on it ... You'll regret it.

If you're not using it, and it's just gathering dust, sell the Ferrari .... You've obviously fallen out of love with it

Then either pay 70k off the mortgage and the start putting the saving into a "man account" until you do decide.

Or Swap both for a Jag F-Type Coupe, XKR, Maser GT, Aston, Bentley GT/GTC or a similarly useable all rounder.

Nice problem to have

Certainly a nice dilemna to have, but from your previous posts you only bought the car 5 months ago, so didn't the GF know you were buying it?

Keep it, and use it for something useful rather than driving just for the sake of it.

Join the http://www.supercar-driver.com/ or use it for charity work (sporting bears etc)

If you need to make a thread on Pistonheads about not enjoying your ferrari/lambo/any other exotic car then that should tell you all you need to know - its time to get rid.

You've got a poverty spec, non special edition car that is only going to lose money (both cash value, and running costs). So you can't even justify it by "maybe it'll be worth more next year". Just get rid.

I'm in the same boat ownership wise - a base spec car that can only go in one direction in price. The second I get bored of ownership, its gone.
