rofl .... busted!

re the clip.....interesting Hammond loves the steering, a non dynamic car one would presume..... lots of fun incl oversteer..... bet he says he loves it over the mac at the end of the clip, which is missing.... shame.

And he's now called Derek rather than The STIG !!! Priceless.

Derek/Gary/Stiggy/Rambo - Please reassure us that you are not really a doctor.

No rules on what name you post on, unless banned, so what's the problem?

It's like being Mandy at the weekend. Nice to have some variation. Interesting clip from Top Gear, they really did need to get rid of Clarkson, the cars were becoming second fiddle to the presenters ego's. Compare that trash to Evo youtube or similar.....

It's amazing how the Huracan has gone from sows ear to silk purse as more journo's drive it on real roads with best steering.

I think from all the reviews Ive read/watched the negative comments on seats are for the versions not in the UK spec seats at current (fixed carbon buckets which I think are mentioned above).
Also seems that the journos massively prefer the non dynamic steering optioned cars as its more natural and progressive rather than artificial. Same seems to be said for all audi Rs or R cars as well.

I think the Huracan looks good but for me personally I think the exhaust surround at the back looks a little odd, I also think it looks MUCH better with the glass rear deck so you can see the engine instead of a black plastic thing that doesnt look too great imo.

Was on my way back to Nottingham Last night around 830 ish and there was a Black Huracan heading for the petrol station, looked pretty beastly in the low light with the lights - think they make a big impact on the lines I think. Downisde for me was I had my window down and couldnt really hear it?

Ive done a couple of thousand miles in my Huracan so far and it's without doubt the best car I've owned to date. My only issues I had with the car was the rear plastic cover was fugly and it was quiet on tickover. I first ordered a glass cover but was advised by a Lambo tetchy that the std cover afforded better vision so I cancelled it. To compensate I've had the rear cover sprayed black to match the body colour and it now looks much better IMO.
I've also fitted the Race exhaust and I promise everyone will hear it now.
Great fun.

did you look into carbon dipping? also, a pic of the painted slats? personally, i would have them every day of the week over the glass option.... the link back to the miura main reason.... the front very countach, the rear quarters very murcielago...

A friend of mine picked one up just over a week ago with delivery miles, I think he's done over 1500 now biggrin (Used it daily to run it in safely then a tour of Scotland to enjoy it).

He has decided on the glass cover - maybe go to a dealership that has one with a glass cover on as they're now starting to appear and see if you like it in person? Although not an owner I have issues with the car from an aesthetic point of view in comparison to an aventador (which looks and sounds dramatic) - although I am sure Huracan is the far easier car to live with due to a better size and the gearbox.

Agree re exhaust/sound without the race exhaust sounds a bit contrived (I think they must make it like that to make you spend more money on official Lamborghini accessories that they then retrofit)

Glad your enjoying your car, two chaps I know had a play in the peaks one in a 458 and the other in a race exhaust equipped huracan and apparently the 458 couldnt get near it, due to 4wd extra power etc. I still think from an aesthetic and acoustic point of view that the spider and hardcore versions will be better - but thats just a student petrol heads view - so take it with a bucket of salt clap

Have fun driving Sone perhaps try and post some photos in this thread so we can see what it looks like (with a before and after of the back if you can) biggrin

Don't think that's from the series. Isn't it from Jezza's 2014 Christmas DVD?
Youtube's 'suggested' videos are all set in Italy and follow the same theme with different head2heads, Clarkson vs Hammond.
