TOP 10 JAPANESE SUPERCARS?
Discussion
R35 is a super car, not a supercar. There are loads of them everywhere. So they re a very good car but too common (popular) to be special enough to be a supercar. Seeing one isn t an event.
In 1994 or 5 I did a few laps of oulton in an nsx and when the brakes faded to nothing I came in to the pits with great curls of smoke coming from the front wheels. And it wasn t even fast. On the same day I lapped faster and for longer in a Golf VR6. An nsx is a sports car, not a supercar. But they are quite lovely and I'd like a late 3.2, manual please.
LFA is rare and expensive and sounds superb but the looks. . . ??? Really??? Would non car people (un-PHers) swivel on their heels if one were to pass by?? I don t think so. . It's a super car, not a supercar.

Oh right, sorry I paid attention. I now know you are just talking absolute rubbish or you perhaps just know nothing. In 1994 or 5 I did a few laps of oulton in an nsx and when the brakes faded to nothing I came in to the pits with great curls of smoke coming from the front wheels. Question: is a troll :
A) a person who is able to form an opinion, justify that opinion and then pass on that opinion in a civilised adult manner,
Or
B) a person that cannot explain his own opinion, cannot hold a conversation but can, whilst hidden behind an anonymous keyboard, declare a stranger to be talking rubbish, know nothing and have no idea what he s talking about.
Which is the troll ???

If an LFA is not a supercar then neither is anything else on the planet.
I find it genuinely bizarre that anyone wouldn't consider the LFA a supercar. Various other Jap cars I can see that there could be some confusion or discussion about it but the LFA is absolutely everything a supercar is. Except it doesn't have a ferrari/lambo badge which presumably is what it needs according to some.

"It's a super car, not a supercar" this very quote was originally said by Clarkson on old Top Gear when referring the Supra before calling the NSX... wait for it... "A Supercar". one that changed the supercar game!!! Even Hammond who has had the pleasure of some epic super cars considers the NSX a supercar.

Today the Ferraris of the 90's are slow, the NSX is slow as are many supercars of the 80's... do they stop becoming supercars because you say so? The NSX and Lexus LFA are designate supercar from their perspective makers. The Journalists that review them consider them to be supercars. Your opinion pails into insignificance when compared to the learned musings of many a motoring journalist and genuine car people!!!
