Of the 8 918s we've sold 7 have stayed in the UK.

Hi All I am organising a car event and also an abseil at the Spinnaker Tower on 23rd April. It is going to be s fantastic day and we are trying to raise £10,000 for SSAFA. I have organised a few car shows called The Pride and Joy Shows that some of you may have attended.

SuperVettura are bringing a number of their cars and will be having their CCX wrapped for the show so that we can write messages of support all over their car,this is only one of the things that will be happening during the day.

The event is on facebook under Spinnaker Supercars. We have a Laferrari joining us but I would like to get " The Holy Trinity of cars " there.

Does anyone know or does anyone own either a McLaren P1 or the Porsche 918 Spyder that may be able to bring their car to the event. If anyone could please help could you please comment and I will get back to you asap. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

Hi I have tried to get one of those. Hard to come by. Snows were trying to arrange but don't think can get one. Really are fantastic cars. We have the koenigsegg zonda some great mustangs. Lots for all tastes. Even a few ferret cars and an armoured land rover lol x

They really can't be compared in any way apart from numbers! Love them both dearly but 918 is technically the much better car.

A bit of a random message but anyone with a 918 interested in doing a photoshoot with me? Been a long desire of me to shoot all 3 cars, I've done the P1 and the LaF (see a few posts above), but only been up close to a 918 at a Motor Show so would be great to do a photoshoot for one!

Zero chance of a LaF Spider, which is fine. I took my F40 to the garden centre yesterday to buy some pot plants. OK, it was an excuse to take her out. Managed to fit 8 plants in the car. Nice plants, the car is just mental. Every time I drive her it's like the first time. Hilarious, mental. Would need to sell her and a few others to fund something like a LaF Spider. I'm really not sure I could. Anyway Ferrari know who is best fit for what.

Regarding tdf apertas, that's IMO unlikely. The 599 SA had the GTO's engine but was definitely not set up as a GTO Aperta. My guess the tdf will remain a hardcore coupe only (as it should be).

More likely will be a F12M Aperta as a run-out model once the F12M coupe is out next year.
