No chance, because the order books for the 458 Speciale were now closed. But then he rang the factory, which agreed to make one more — for me. Imagine that. I would own the last example of the last normally aspirated mid-engined V8 Ferrari. It was better than finding a Canaletto at a car boot sale. Yes, please, I said breathlessly.

Apparently it was made especially for him - Its Verde Kers (will double check the spelling). There was a 458 spider in a brighter green specced at Egham, but that was a colour apparently already made by Ferrari.I haven't seen his interior yet, but he's got green edging/tinting on the carbon inside.

I know someone who is still waiting for his UK car, there is a guy on one of the US forums who was saying that he is going to see his car on the production line in mid-Dec - I presume as per the IPO documents the last Speciales/Aperta will be done by the new yearmattf93 said:
