This wonderful machine pulled into the gym in birminhgham today in EV mode totally silent, i really poured all over the details, threw down my bag down in the rain and just took as many detail pics as i could.... honestly this is the hyper car of choice for me, it just pips the p1 for the car id choose. quality is like nothing I've seen, the engine noise blew me away, the car in general literally made my month seeing it today.. cool owner too.

Looks like an absolute weapon, yet to my eyes rather understated in that colour? Guess that's the best of both worlds if you're driving it to the gym. wink

Brave (wo)man parking in that space though. redface

I love some details on this, the top exhausts especially but the panel gaps between headlights and bonnet make it look like a kit car from certain angles.

Such a shame. The car is such a technological tour de force, but is designed by the same people who can look at a 911 and think its pretty.

They really needed to build the car then give it to an italian to design the body. The germans really have no idea what a desirable sports car looks like.

Couldn't disagree more.

Restraint being the corner stone of good design.

honestly to see this in the flesh, the design, the details, the fit, the finish on the car are amongst some of the very best I've ever seen.... This car is ART.

I watched the Supercar Superbuild programme on Quest about this, its an impressive piece of kit smile . My imaginary lottery win money was going on a P1, not sure now hehe .

I saw one on the road the other day and as with all super-mega-cars it appears almost impossibly wide and low juxtaposed with the normal rush-hour traffic.

Saw one of these at Specialist Cars of Malton when I went to the Big Breakfast a few weeks ago. Stunning machine. I've been a dyed-in-the-wool Ferrari enthusiast since a few years of age but out of the 'big three' I'd have the 918.

You have to admit that panel fit on the front is st I would take a P1 all day long

Whilst my favourite is the P1 I must agree, the 24GE 918 drives around where I live.
When I first saw it I stopped dead in my tracks, considering we have F40s, 50th edition AV etc in the area it really takes something for me to do that.

The shut-lines on the front bumper are like something from a kit-car. With that sorted it would look amazing.
