Nah it's ok, I have a friend that has one just down the road, he is a really nice, generous and kind person and I'm sure he will let me have a go. Luckily I know his insurance broker too so no there is no reason why I can't.
Nope - you've not driven a manual in years and aren't starting back up on mine.gregf40 said:
What's not to like about a RO Chrono?
Do you go to the AP golf days Woppum? Apparently it's at Gleneagles next year (as opposed to Sunningdale)...would be a good excuse for a run in the 918!
I've had several AP's in the past, just not keen on gold watches - it's a little too 'in your face' in my opinion Do you go to the AP golf days Woppum? Apparently it's at Gleneagles next year (as opposed to Sunningdale)...would be a good excuse for a run in the 918!

I've got my Diver on as I type - I'm a complete WIS...costs nearly as much as my car addiction!

How long before you get bored of it for it is the best of the best of the best.
It's very good but my Speciale I think is more fun, have high hope for my 991 RS too. Bought the 918 to be a keeper for Euro trips but just have to see how it goes, only had it a week !Well, I don't see a form page for 'spotted', but this seems the best place, otherwise.
Earlier tonight a group of exotics was parked across the street from my office in the Midwest of the USA.
Included were:
A tricked up new Corvette Z06. Multicolored.
A white 911 GT3.
A Ford GT. Dark silver.
An Alfa Romeo 4C in the darker brick red. First one I've seen. Why do they have that air scoop by the back tire only on the driver's side?
A Ferrari F430 convertible.
A Cayman I assume was with the group.
And a 918 Spyder with weird racecar graphics and the number 3 on it. First one I've seen. It had Montana plates on it whereas the others had Illinois, Wisconsin, and other Midwestern plates. Wasn't a fan of the graphics, but a very cool car to see out and about.

The reason it has Montana plates is because by registering the car there you avoid sales tax (VAT)You see it a lot with high end cars in the US
