Browsing the Bonhams catalogue for Goodwood F of S to see if I fancy anything, intrigued by this Enzo.

http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/22723/lot/366/

Being sold under the Proceeds of Crime Act
the mind boggles as to how that got to be recovered and the stories it could tell!

Also a couple of other Ferraris and a RR Phantom

Crashed by Don Wallce son, repaired du Ferrari Ft Lauderdale, imported to UK, registered in Swiss, registered in UK, seized and now being sold, what a car!

U.S. Spec car by the way...I'm sure piston heads will work out who's it was

Used to find it very funny how his PH profile page used to list his business as Pharmaceuticals

Didn't he also have a black Enzo that was made long after they were all meant to be built?

Ha, I remember this guy. Him and his Brother turned up at The Mulberry in a Veyron with the fake number plate E 1. How he managed to travel around in such an amazing car and avoid the plod with a glaringly incorrect plate was jammy to say the least. His Phantom did have the number X8 OPS, which I believe was genuine, although I don't know if the BOP 5 number on his Phantom Drophead was real either. Whatever the truth is, the both of them seems quite pleasant guys to speak with.

The descriptions on the Bonhams site are very interesting, such as on the RR

'Currently displaying 9,630 miles on the odometer, which you should be aware is not the total mileage from new'

Judging by the state of the driver's seat, I'd say that description is probably fairly accurate.

And the plate above XAN1 is slang for Xanax. Talk about hiding in plain sight!

I did some work for a successful accountant years ago. He had a car washer on his payroll. Registration of the car washer's car included XTC. He confirmed that he was very over paid to badly wash cars.

According to the link, he had a convertable! I've always wanted one of those for my garden.

Does it matter whether he or his is wife Indian? What relevance does that have to this thread? I'm confused?
