I don't think our car is particularly low, presumably the original owner had it set higher than yours. It seems that the spring platforms are height adjustable.

There are multiple little speed bumps on the road leading to and from our house that can be negotiated with no grounding issues neither does the car suffer on the bigger speed lumps in the middle on a land that you straddle with the cars wheels.
