Ferrari Owners Club Silverstone Track Day 24th September

Looking forward to my second ever outing on a track day in my Speciale at Silverstone next week.

I was lucky enough to drive the Manchester demonstrator Speciale at Stratstone on the full Grand Prix circuit last year, which was a real blast.

Just reading the bumph from the FOC and it's an early start (sign on at 7:45, and drivers briefing at 8:20), and we are only driving the International Circuit (slightly more than half the GP circuit). Bit of a disappointment, but still eager to make the most of the day!

Any other FOC members booked in?

Me !! Did a day there today with FNE on GP Circuit.
The International Circuit is not so much fun and many more cars than FNE have at a time

I had to cancel the FNE day at Silverstone on Wednesday, so I hope the FOC day makes up for it. See you there!

I think the FNE day was a noisy day, and I see the FoC day is 105db, I know Rob failed the drive by at Silly in his Speciale on a 105db day as the drive by is 102db (I think).

Based on previous query from him OP is new to the car so is unlikely to be at full chat in race mode past the drive-by

Yes, Manettino will be in the "Softly Softly" setting, and the pipes will be stuffed with sound-muffling cotton wool!

Just phoned FOC but gone at 4.35.

Was at Silverstone a few weeks ago and there were about 5 Speciales .... no issues at all...

The event will be run from The Wing pit garages, and spectators are welcome. I don't know if the grand stand seating areas will be open, but there are good viewing areas all around the circuit.
