"The all-new Ferrari 488 GTB heralds the arrival of a new generation of 8-cylinder supercars that are fitted with turbochargers."

Really?

Popped in to my local dealer last friday- they had a couple of 488 GTBs in- rosso and grigio. Both looked quite nice. But they were totally upstaged by the F40 next to them. Which in turn was upstaged by the 3 Dinos, 1 Daytona, 2 330s and 3 250GTEs.
None of these beauties could hold a candle to the burgundy 250 Lusso however. My God, it was perfect!
The modern Ferraris are quite amazing weapons, but the old ones are just simply works of art. They don't make 'em like they used to!

Personally I think the 488 looks fantastic also the 458 was/is a fantastic looking car and also a great car to drive. This for me is where some of the so called classics fall down, they often drive like dogs, no matter how pretty or expensive they are!
Anyway I digress, is that really worth the premium especially considering its a left hooker?

Agree 100% where the classics are concerned! Also, in terms of the 488 premium - if you're impatient, want one right now and have the means to pay, then yes it's worth it. I personally wouldn't go for that colour but suppose it makes a change from rosso corsa.

Totally agree.I think 2 slimmer blades would have looked better. Also the front lower spoiler looks like a stuck on afterthought.Looking at the engine also reminds me of a Honda Vtec.

Apart from that its quite nice and no doubt will drive very well smile

I think the colour works well on the car actually.

Had a Grigio Titanio California a few years ago and thought that it was a bit different from Grigio Silverstone or black. Not so sure about the coloured seat inserts on this car - but then again, I'm sure someone else probably loves them! Either way, it is a good looking car.

I personally think that colour looks fabulous. The point that I am making, is that up until very recently, customers of new Ferraris always seem to go safe and order resale red (sorry, rosso corsa). Thinking more about how the colour may effect the car's resale value a few years down the line, than how much they actually liked the colour. For me, that Grigio 488GTB looks magnificent. Love the interior choice too!
