Can you trickle charge via the cig lighter socket like on TVRs?
Never tried, I've got the CTEK hardwired to the battery in the boot, it's not an issue.

Decisive move smile Top work! Report back when you have it and have had a play...

Certainly brings the pricing range in.

EC2 - I think the "anti-lift device" will be something to do with the alarm...

Great choice! The MC shift is more than capable around town and is truly fantastic when out of it. I just got mine back after a service and have fallen for the looks and V8 sound all over again!

Too busy driving to post!! Really chuffed with it, driven around 80 miles, 79 miles of which in sports paddle mode. The blue Is a bit darker than the images I had previously seen which is good and really pleased with the look of the car. In the skin it looks even better than the pictures. The noise! Wow .. It also feels like a much lighter car to me and the handling so far is superb. The build quality is on a much higher level to my M5. It's avert special car.. Love it

Now done over 200 miles in it and its sat outside my office window so I can look at it all day! Left it on the road last night in city centre Plymouth which I wasn't happy about but all ok this morning. Ordered an optimate charger for it for when I go away at Christmas without it and private plates go on at the end of the week. The only negative thing is some wind noise on the on the drivers window at motorway speeds, not sure if this is typical. Not a big issue and loving everything else massively.

The window might need adjusting. Ask on SportsMaserati.co.uk.

On great, looks like a fab toy.

Fold the mirrors in and is the wind noise still present?
