Ordinary Guys 650S

Loved the footage and it therefore depressed me that we're coming in to winter I initially though the commentary a bit puerile and unprofessional .... but then I got it. "Ordinary Guys". If someone had given me and a bunch of friends the keys to a supercar, or any nice car, 15 years ago that's just how we'd be!
So as an alternative to the trying to to be slick and clever presenters out there (some good some not so) it's refreshing. Only caveat is I thin I'd need to already like the Car somewhat to watch.
Thanks for posting.
I think it's just the amazement at the car which the guys are displaying that does it for me Bosh.
The review is hardly in depth and the conclusions probably wouldn't lead you to spending a quarter of a million quid on a car but I don't think that is the point here, they are just everyday guys enjoying the experience. Most Supercar reviews are driving god journalists using more and more convoluted metaphors to describe the performance and handling, they seem to judge every car by how well they can drift it at 120 on a track and say stuff like "I'm picking up a hint of understeer here" as they hurtle into a 140mph curve. This isn't what ownership of these things means to me, it means exactly what the guys on this vid are feeling.
I've only been fortunate enough to own stuff like this in the last ten years and I still get that undiluted thrill whenever an empty road presents itself. The vast majority of petrolheads won't own one and when they do get to drive one their reaction won't be a clinical appraisal of diffs and ratios it will be
"OH MY fkING GOD FOR fkS SAKE!!", exactly like the guys here.
Not saying people like CH don't do wonderful stuff, of course they do and it's invaluable but it's nice to see people just laughing out loud at the sheer exuberance of being let loose in a modern Supercar.

I guess I'm just an ordinary guy as that video was great, nothing different to what I'd do if I had a 650S for the weekend.
The standard car review videos are a bit boring if I'm honest.
When I first started it I thought there was no way I'd watch 22 mins of it, but it was great.
The 650S is my all time dream car though so made it easier to watch.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I know it won't be to everyone's tastes but hopefully at a basic level it's easy watching and shows a slightly different viewpoint of the supercar experience! If you do like it, make sure you subscribe because we've got lots of ideas for future stuff.

Exactly, Ordinary Guys And as for the criticism of the driving on public roads, well I must admit, it's probably similar to how I drive; quick bursts of acceleration every now and again, when safe to do so, to give myself cheap thrills.
It didn't look like they were driving particularly fast in the panned and aeriel shots, no drifting, no on the limit stuff etc so I can't really complain.
