So having watched the Chris Harris video I found myself loving all of the cars in equal measure. I used to be a die-hard Porsche fanboy and in the past would not allow myself to appreciate other marques to the same degree. Luckily I am all growed-up now and while I still love Porsches, I totally get other marques and their qualities.

So much so, that I was fortunate enough to purchase an F430 Scuderia a year ago while actually looking for a 997 GT3. I also am super fortunate enough to have a GT3 RS coming in April. To cap it all, I saw a McLaren 570S in person 2 weeks back and I really, really like it. So within the realms of what is affordable for me, my "Junior Holy Trinity" is:

F430 Scud
991 GT3RS
McLaren 570S

Hopefully by April 2016 I will be 2/3 of the way there and while not hyper cars they will do me just fine.

Just for fun, and without wishing to upset anyone, what would yours be????????

I'm sure most of us would if the latter wasn't several times the price!

I think Shmee's done pretty well on this. A 675LT, Cayman GT4 and an FF.

I think by the subject of Junior holy trinity that would suggest that things like the McLaren F1 and Carrera GT would not be suitable choices, that's just the previous holy trinity not junior biggrin

Dino 246GT - almost too pretty for words,
Lamborghini Espada - ticks the 'slightly bonkers but usable everyday' option,
Mk1/2 or 3 Cooper S - proper little buzz box.

I'm confused at the term ''junior holy trinity''. Presumably it means 430 scud esque cars, but then others include Zonda/Mclaren F1/F50/599GTO/Carrera GT's in the mix...all cars north of 600K. Not exactly junior, is it?

1) Challenge Stradale
2) 550 Maranello, modified to a car I think Ferrari forgot to make, a 550 GTO/Scuderia/Stradale. The idea is in my head and it's awesome.
3) LP640 with manual. SV is preferable, but out of ''junior'' budget these days.
