Can anyone suggest which 5 star hotels in Paris are best for supercar parking? I'm heading there in March.

The Plaza Athenee normally has a selection of supercars parked outside its main entrance. Superb location, one of the best hotels in Paris.

I don't think the Plaza has any parking which is why you see these cars outside?
L'Hôtel Fouquet's Barrière does have parking as does the Peninsula Paris.

Don't know how close to the centre you need to be but there are some very nice hotels with secure underground parking in La Defense district (business area).

Stayed at Le Meurice last year and parked at the underground car park in Place Vendome. Very secure with big enough spaces and quite a few interesting classic and modern machinery on the lower levels. Drive the car there yourself though, as the hotels will charge you extra per day for taking the car there.

Underneath Place Vendome is an enormous car park used by several hotels. As well as having a public car park. A quick check on Leading Hotels will give you some hotel options.

Any issues with the angle of the ramps on entry and exit? I've seen some great underground car parks in Paris, but wouldn't want to try to navigate their sills with some of the cars i've owned.

That's why I don't let valets park my cars. By the time you have explained how to raise the lift it's quicker to just do it yourself.

Off topic: ref. Eurotunnel, which type of vehicle needs to be put in for the easy loading of low cars?

Sorry to bump this thread and I'm aware that, outside of my own head, my car doesn't qualify here however a) it's quite low at the front and b) I'm quite precious about it.

biggrin

My partner and I are off to Paris later this month and I'll be driving. Is the Place Vendome car park mentioned on this thread before considered a good bet for a slightly paranoid PHer?

We'll be staying at a hotel within Amex's FHR collection so they'll likely have valet facilities etc. however it'd be good to have an alternative option that's vouched for by owners of much more expensive machinery.

Since this thread has come back to life, I can report that the Saint-James was excellent and I highly recommend it for the stay as well as the parking.
