Supercar Weather Cover

Hi Guys,
My place is fantastic I have plenty of hard standing and private off road parking but no garage! My Mrs loves the house so we don't want to think about moving just yet but I keep coming back to this, what can I buy for the money to keep the R8 undercover and protected from the elements, I hate to think of it being out in the open do I have any option aside from building a garage which I really want to avoid....
What are these car tents like?
Thanks,
Tom.

Also in the market for something like this as hoping to move house shortly so don't want expenses of erecting another garage to house new addition(s). Best I've found so far is this http://www.houseoftents.co.uk/SALE/48700.html - any feedback from other users would be appreciated.
Hi Tom, I've been going through the very same process for the imminent arrival of a 599. A fellow Ferrari owner recommended this company and its products. From the additional research that I've done, they seem good quality and decent value. I've ordered one.

I think Machine Mart were knocking out the portable tent garages cheap recently.

I got the machine mart one and it is very good. I use mine regularly so a cover was no good. However it did take two guys from my office most of the day to build it and anchor it well to the ground. I'm going to leave the front part open so that there is a good through flow of air, so reducing any condensation and allows it to dry out if put away wet.

Which one did you go for - there seem to be two different types?https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-cig1020-hea...
Also do a search in the site for "anchoring" plenty of options.

Having just purchased a 360 Spider on a whim with another Italian residing in the garage, i was forced to seek a solution fast. I came across a new product to me anyway called the touchless cover, give Mark a call he's very helpful indeed
http://www.carcovershop.co.uk/Touchless_Car_Cover.... its a bit of hassle the first time but you do get used to it. I think for the solution of keeping the weather off your pride and joy at the same time as being easy on the eye it's a good contender and you still have the choice of folding it away (with practice in a couple of minutes) and you can even work on your car in the rain if you wish.

I was thinking of getting one of these for £400. Apparently very wind-proof due to shape and it can be anchored to ground with bolts. Very easy to open/close and drive car in/out. Fabric is water-proof oxford and frame is galvanized tubing with powder coating.

IMHO the Outdoor Carcoon is the best solution... https://www.carcoon.com/carcoon-double-skin-outdoo...
I have 2 of these and they keep the cars in perfect condition, not even any dust! No anchoring required as you park on the "groundsheet", completely dry and indeed moisture controlled environment (even due point), low pressure inflation means no touch to bodywork. The only downsides are you need a power socket close by because the fans run constantly and it takes a few mins to extract the car (a bit longer to put it back in) when you need it.
Cheers

These guys were at the London Classic Car Show at the weekend. A bit pricey though - £5,600

I needed something that could be used regularly without fuss but if its not regularly used then these look idealI have 2 of these and they keep the cars in perfect condition, not even any dust!
