These people will get my PIN from my ECU and also provide me with a replacement alarm for $NZ 420 (about 415GBP). I'd rather not send my ECU to New Zealand so I wondered if anyone can do the same in the UK?

I understand that it would be well over £1500 to have the same done at a Ferrari main dealer?

I only have one key/fob and I don't know my PIN.

You've posted this in Supercars and not said what car this is for - if its a Ferrari 355/360/550/575 type fob some people in the States can clone them - there are suggestions of UK possibilities - I think one was Shiltech - and then there's someone in France - there is no equivalent to the NZ service anywhere else of which I am aware

From my experience cloning is fine only as a short term solution; it's a pain in the ass having to press the fob 30 times to get in just because you used the other fob for a week.

For resale value, ease of use etc just get a new set - £800 it cost me

I've got the same issue on both my cars 360 and Murcielago, and been researching for a little while, but what really gets my back up, is the fact that previous owners of both my cars looked after the cars well before they passed them on, but lost all the spare keys/fobs of both cars somewhere along the line as well as the Pin code cards hidden for safety no doubt!
All our lost spares are gathering dust in the back of a drawer somewhere no good to anyone and we have to spend hundreds if not thousands to sort it out!!! Please guys when selling your cars pass the spares on and make sure the dealers do also.
When I sold my Cali, I passed on spare keys, all the books, soft cover, battery tender, 3 piece unused luggage set and a clean car......

Another poster to have gone through this, I bought my 2001 360 with only one key and one (black) fob with no code.
I investigated the cloning option, but the fact that the remotes go out of sequence makes it such a mickey mouse solution that I decided to do it properly.

It cost me well into 4 figures and took a long time but in the end I have ended up with 2 keys, 2 black remotes, 1 red remote and a new pin code.
If I should ever sell the car, I suspect the investment I made will more than pay for itself.
