360 Spider or Gallardo Spider?
Discussion
Hi all
A quick question. If you were just about to invest 80k of your hardest earned cash into either of the above cars what would it be? I am looking to not loose my shirt in 5 years when its paid for and possible resale is a factor. 80k and just above buys a later Gallardo 2007/8 as many of the 360 spiders are 2012/2 cars.

Gallardo over 360 for me. Newer car and better looking and performing IMHO
No brainer. Everyone loves a Lambo and the attention you will get will far exceed a 360. Cant believe they are even in the same price bracket. Some Ferrari's seem to be in an overvalued price bubble at the moment and I think you stand to lose more on a 360 once its bursts

I agree am interested to see which way things are heading with these cars it was hard enough getting down to these two models so I am really glad no one jumped in with get an Aston or 911 etc I already have an Ultima Evolution Ls3 which is nearly finished and was purchased through passion, So its not a performance thing with these two, its more an itch I have to scratch while I have the time left here on the planet

Who cares which ones gets the most attention..... buy the one YOU like...not what others like. You buy it for you not for the crowd.

If you don't buy a supercar for at least some attention then you're probably kidding yourself. You should get a lada - anonymity guaranteed. OP - simply accept that road presence, theatre, noise and attention are part of the package, and is a pillar in supercar ownership....in which cas e I vote Gallardo. I think 360s at 80k are massively over priced btw.
No comparison, has to be the Gallardo Spyder.
Spent a week with a 360 Spider and honestly thought it would kill me if provoked. Added that it's much more dated car and the roof design looks ugly from the back, although it looks fine roof down.
Consequently driven 3 Gallardo Spyders totalling 2 weeks and loved every minute in them.
I would have thought 430 Spider is the closer equivalent to the Gallardo Spyder, and having spent time in one of those too I'd still pick the Lambo.
