Hi All,

The Ferrari Owners Club open pit-lane trackday is tomorrow (22/9) and there is still time to book. Remember we give free instruction throughout the day, so do keep us busy, it will make you much quicker than any carbon add on you may be considering.

As for the Passione event itself, running from the 23/9, it's a Ferrari Northern Europe take on the Racing Days from 2 years ago. Not an official Corsa Clienti event, however they do have F1 and FXX demo laps between the racing sessions; dealer demo laps and dealer customer trackday sessions. Full hospitality also available.

I'm in the Black 355 Challenge No 46 in the Classic series, so if you do pop along come and say Hi.

I am one of the PA commentators on Saturday - loved the event two years ago. OP, is there an entry list for the races available anywhere please? (A list for the other sessions would be appreciated too so I know who I am talking about.)

Hi Dave,
yes I have the race entry here for the classic:

I don't have the wider entry list unfortunately, but will ask today at the trackday when the race director arrives.

Is this just a track day then, not a car "show" where I can walk around look and take snaps?

today was the track day,
tomorrow is free entry and classic races, plus FXX clients etc
Saturday the same, but costs £10 for non-owners

Track day Friday and Saturday too. No racing on Friday. Some practice sessions only. Indeed, most of the track time is taken up with FNE clients on track. The timetable is on the Silverstone website: http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/passione-ferra...

Will be there tomorrow from around 10:15. If it's anything like Racing Days it'll be a car meet vibe in the Ferrari car park with the added bonus of some track action and other attractions.
There is a parade at 5pm too for everyone to go onto track.

Great fun today and not just in my 355. A ride in the FXXK with Kristina driving was epic.

Quick question for anyone who knows...

Can you get entry by paying at the gate today for a look around?

Looks like online sales finished on Thursday.

Thanks

Lovely day at Silverstone yesterday. Well commentated David, tough gig to talk all day!

A few (100 or so) photos on my Flicr page:

Afraid I didn't get any ones that were spot-on of car 46 - this is the best one - sorry!

Sorry to have missed this Tris, but was in Bali after the Singapore GP - hooked up with Alex and Kristina there! Congratulations on your podium!

Many thanks smile my co commentator Jake did the majority of the talking but I was in the box for the two races - unfortunately you can only see a small part of the circuit from the box above Abbey so it was quite difficult to call the races. Was still an amazing day though and I loved every moment - meeting some very famous names including Rene Arnoux, standing on the pitwall when those incredible FXX Ks were in full flow (seriously, words cannot get across how loud those stunning things are) and standing alongside them as they were fired and prepped by the Maranello mechanics, plus seeing so much droolsome Italian metal up close. Here's to the next one!
