Wrecked Lambo Dubai

Son in law on his way home in Dubai last night was overtaken by this Lambo which was being driven by an Arabic man, when just a few seconds later he comes across this , he told me it looked amazing as it went past.
My daughter said that the driver begged for them not to call the police, so after making sure he was ok they headed home, I would presume he spun under acceleration, just thought I would share it, very expensive mistake, Mike

What would have happened if they had called the police?

Don't know he implored my daughter and son in law not to call them maybe he'd stolen it , maybe drugs or drink .
Best not to be involved I guess out there.
