Thanks Ian,
lovely day out despite the winter weather. boyhood dream to get a ride in a diablo - thank you so much - has just the right amount of 'hello, step inside and lets see if I decide to kill you today' - proper supercar!
Andy, great to meet you, talk cars and sit in your 650s
my friend driving the 430 would like to apologize for the car alarms it set off early so early on a sunday morning..

Black Ferrari 488, trimming hedges on the way out, own up, who was it ?
https://youtu.be/03wOaO3CkasI was waiting for you guys to arrive & found out from one of my spies that you guys were in the other car park whilst I saw the Koenigsegg, 599 GTO, a 675 LT Spider & a certain SLS.
I rushed quickly to see you're cars & took loads of pics as I always do & I must say, you guys have brought along a decent convoy as always!
Whilst I was looking at the cars, my mates (father & daughter) in their Ferrari 458 racers spun off the track in unison! So when the footage of the 488 near crash showed up when I was with the daughter part of the team, I showed her the footage of said incident & she & her boyfriend were shocked & gobsmacked how close the driver came to disaster!
Pics as always: https://www.flickr.com/gp/59166814@N02/9Wr52D
P.S. Congrats on the amount raised Ian!

43. D16RR - 488
This made me chuckle. I guess the linear power delivery is a little too much.d16rr said:

A naturally aspirated engine is a sharper tool than a turboed unit. Sharper throttle response, and more linear power delivery, make it a better engine for a driver's car.
On the 488. It restricts its power in the lower gears. I'd want to circumvent that - presuming the drive train can handle it.
Have you driven a 488, don't think you would want to circumvent that, the linear power delivery is perfect, you are already using one higher gear than a N/A 458 on chicane exit. Drive one and seeOn the 488. It restricts its power in the lower gears. I'd want to circumvent that - presuming the drive train can handle it.

He was vanquished, saw him coming up behind me when I was taking it fairly easy on coldish tyres, let him past to see what he was all about, his lines were all over the place and the only thing he had was a heavy right foot and four wheel drive, passed him and left him (yellow 991rs) . have to agree with all the above comments on his driving. But a great day and thanks to ph staff well done lads.
At least he knew to keep it on the track... It's a shame this has cast a tiny shadow on an otherwise great day. Huge well done to Ian for organising another impressive collection!!

Glad that everyone enjoyed the day and Many Thanks to everyone who made a donation to the Cancer Charity.
I was very pleased to handover £512.18 when we arrived at Goodwood, which I think is a great result from our little convoy!

Nice selection You must have captured everything there, even the Reliant (great sport whoever brought that!).
Does anyone know where the bird strike that cracked the windscreen occurred and what's the car?
