I doubt it's gonna make the 195 offer of last time.
Indeed, unsold at a £174,500 high bid

The figures reached in the various auctions over the last few months indicate that the original purchase was an act of lunacy. Sometimes recreations fetch good money but the ingredients need to be good looks, excellent driving and the designer/builder needs to be top class.

The top bid gets lower every time it's advertised. I wonder if the seller is serious about selling, or just angling to see if anyone really wants it.

Or maybe it’s a simple as the seller waiting for a real bid

This David Brown is effectively a scam.

No automative excellence, just trading off the confusion / coincidence that Aston Martin were once owned by another David Brown (hence the DB naming conventions at Aston).

This speedback which is copying certain “classic” Aston styling queues (again to push the fake Aston connection) is just a Jaguar XKR underneath.

Credit to him in suckering some very wealthy high profile customers - Alan Sugar, Cowell, etc to hand over the original half million £ price.

But in the resale market as the offers are showing, these cars are not valuable nor in demand.
100%.

Never a £600k car in the first place when new due to relatively limited appeal and very niche market.
this. i'd be interested at 60k or something tbh

There's a lovely brown/black Virage on CC at the moment too that will probably end up around 40k.
I'd much rather that any day of the week.

Of course this David Brown bailed out of the company quite a while ago. Don’t know what the after sales backup is like .
