BTW a quicky data check on the registration shows it as a 2000 manufactured car, with a 4.2l engine... Can't get any more data at the moment.

It comes up as a 4.2l , but it also comes up as a Lamborghini. Which is strange, because I didn't know of any Verdi Ithica 6ltrs

Wing mirrors don't look right in black, 6ltrs are usually colour coded unlike Murcie's

Fabulous pictures of an of an outstanding event, my thanks to all who posted them.
My heartfelt commiserations to the owner of the Venturi.

My personal favourite is the Stadale.

The lime green "6.0L VT" was parked next to mine at brooklands and looked/sounded a "little" different from the outset ....def didn't sound like a V12; shut lines on the doors bonnet were way off the mark; and a look thru the engine cover slats showed that it def wasn't a Lambo engine!!! On the road tho' in convoy, I doubt that many people noticed.

Has anyone heard about the Venturi driver yet?? Can anyone confirm that he is ok?

Less importantly, how did his car cope with the accident?/ is the 400GT a definate write off??

what a great turnout, weather was actually quite sunny during the 30 mins I was there so rushed around and got some good pics + video of 100+ Lambos leaving

Highlights - 350GTs, Gallardo spyder, rainbow of 6.0VTs (even if green one was fake), Miuras, Countachs starting up and reversing Lambo-style, some great plates, laughing at HOT 53X plate

Lowlights - Venturi-crash, dark blue Murcielago with awful grey two-tone paint job, reminders of styling of Diablo roadsters, laughing at HOT 53X owner's white shellsuit

Venturi 400GT was being driven by my brother and had my 14 year old son in the car. Both were unhurt just a bit shaken by the experience. (Thank goodness). As somone put it my brother looked as though he had "just put his foor through the Mona Lisa!" I was in front in the silver diablo and watched the whole thing in my rear view mirror. For reference about the car the Venturi was/Is one of only 14 400GT's and the only right hand drive in existence. The link between Venturi and Lamborghini is that in 1992 the Venturi formula 1 team used lambo V12 engines. Of the 14 cars built there were 2 series 2 cars of which this was one. It was not a converted race car. The car has only done 4,000 miles, was concours in condition and was my pride and joy. (Am gutted). Our thanks for the messages of concern over the accident and the emergency services were outstanding. Sorry to have missed the rest of the day but by the looks of the pictures the whole event was fantastic. (Am going now to open bottle of wine to drown my sorrows!)

Yes if the person asking for the photos to be shared are looking for images of the real thing!

Went for a drive down to Brighton to check these out.

Confirmed 2 things:

1. That Diablo GT is incredible
2. Brighton is a sh*thole.

Cheers,
Brendon

Dont suppose you hire the VT out do you? A m8 at work has been trying like buggery to get hold of a white CT to hire for a wedding!
