why red? there arent many red 550s or 575s, 456s, scags etc. in fact not many red 430s either around london. i think the resale red issue was true of 355 and prior, partly true of 360 but seems to be lessening with the newer models. as to the 599 whilst no beauty, it certainly looks to me like a step in the right direction looks wise, i think it will look good in the flesh. the 612 looks twice as good as the pics so that bodes well for the 599

saw a stunning f40 on swiss plates in regents park the other day, looked like it was brand new. the magic of zymol maybe!

There was one of these at the Ring (in the same colour) this week on Wednesday, with Swedish plates. Looked huge. Came up behind me on my first ever lap of the Ring. Shame it was driven by a tt who proceeded to be about 1 metre from the back of my car as I slowed to take a bend.

I saw that 599 as well on Weds. Had a good look at it in the car park and it looked sensational inside and out, and the sound of that V12 is just dreamy.

Look just brilliant close up, the pictures do the car little justice IMHO.

But.....it's still not a 575M HGTC i'm afraid.

i think the 599 is a stunning looking car.

i think the current Ferrari's still are fantastic looking machines in the flesh, especially the F430 and 612. i had a look at a 612 up close recently and i loved it, it is such a big car but the styling really grows on you, its so much more interesting to look at than the old 456 IMO.
the 599 will have a tough act to follow after the beautiful 550/575 but i think in the metal it will be just beautiful as all great Ferrari's should be.

Where do you put the front plate on this car? Or do you go without? (Can't where I live )

from stiff needle's video dynamically speaking the front end looks a bit dissapointing. did the 550 suffer from the same? cannot believe that a car whose handling everyone raved about so much would have understeered as much.

lovely looking car though!

A showroom local to me has one in stunning Rosso. A very pretty car indeed.

Also has an SLR, Enzo, Zonda, CGT and an MC12, among many other exotica and limited runs (CLK-DTM etc).

Not bad for a backstreet dealer in Malaysia.

great car, much more of an evolution from 575 to 599, than lambos attempt from murcielago to LP640

Wish I knew that!!! I was in Malaysia last July for three weeks. Had I known about the dealer, I'd have been there in no time, to drool over them. I just wonder how much they cost in Malaysia given the dracionan taxation regime on imported cars.
