Older cars unreliable?
True I believe in relation to the Miura. Countach has been my most reliable Lambo by far. Diablo is better than a Murci. There is just less to go wrong in the older cars. No ECUs on a Countach. Not many on an early Diablo. Lots of stuff to go wrong on a Murci.......
I know someone who bought a countach 18 months ago and has had several problems in almost as many times he has ventured out with it. Some being, headlights have stopped working twice at night, including the pop up motor part, battery failure, head gasket failure requiring engine out to strip and rebuild, fuses blowing. I use my Murci daily in summer months to the office 60 mile round trip no issues.

Please bear in mind my comment about user friendly, I expect my super cars to propel me at a rate of knots associated with a modern super car experience, safely, I wouldn't expect anyone in a countach to drive the way a Murci can cover ground.

Murci is a capable drivers car , although not a collectors or classic as yet , the Murci still for now is a daily usable vehicle for the road , people buying would only have this intention in mind when purchasing , when it comes to collectors cars such as the Iconic Countach that fetches prices way above a Murci other factors push that price up . Drivability is still good , and any owner would simply restore to as new or as best as new when it left the factory , what pushes the price up is iconic status , condition ( not just if it go's fast or not ) , rarity , numbers built numbers left , road presence , investment potential , desirability . That's why you see new cars drop in value , hold their price for a while ( sometimes a long time ) and then as they become collectable the prices go up as people begin to want them cars back in their lives . There is no comparisome between a Murci and a Countach , not because of drivability or reliability on today's roads , but because of desirability and investment potential . You pays your money and takes ya choice , all depends what you want the car for and how it fills your needs as an individual .
