Hired LP640 - crashed by numpties
Discussion
This sort of stuff makes me sick. I believe the driver was uninsured - I wonder if the car hire company will get insurance at their next renewal. Unfortunately there is a certain type of client who is happy to hire cars from the supercar hire companies and then sub-hire them out to people who do not qualify for the hire insurance. It's always the same - the car comes back with damage or a knackered clutch, and the guy who hired it has no idea because he never drove it - some 20 year old kid did! It's a perennial problem. If anyone sees this happening, please gather some evidence, and forward it to the hire company!!!!
I feel sorry for the hire company, really sorry.
I know it's their business, but to invest such a substantial sum in such a wonderful car in order that others less fortunate, can perhaps for maybe just once in a lifetime experience what such a car has to offer. To then have it damaged in such a way is just awful.
Not to think what could have happened when the car exited the side road!
If you're of that persuasion, there's a time and a place for showing off - that was neither.
I despair of the human race sometimes.

Its funny, you captured my sentiments a treat here, but I cant help but think the guy who did this doesnt care one bit....he's too much of a clown to realise what a fool he is. I dare say he's bragging to him mates that he did a 100mph in London in a Lamborghini and trashed it. Words couldnt convey the contempt I feel for idiots like him.
I'll say it again that the driver is a ing cock and I can only hope that the well known recognition that PH has mean hes reading this now.
The only thing I'm a bit skeptical about is the fact that on swift hires site it describes the 640 as being green, when I would say it was beige, bronze, gold, or champagne. Definately not green. It is obviously theres though and just a formality.

A quick google gives you this. But it doesn't look like any of these to me.
I'm sure those in the know will know.

I'd say at a guess that may be slightly outdated, and not taking into account the 640? Just a guess.

Whats strange is that car hire companies are extremely selective about who they hire to around Eid, up in Manchester its been common for years for groups of Asian youths doing handbrake turns, burnouts etc in hired vehicles on that date(as seen on the local news). Surely the subcontractor would be responsible for the bill?
