I park my 360 Spider in disabled bays all the time by choice. As someone else said, most of the people with the stickers aint properly disabled. My opinion is that if they are fit enough to walk round Asda, they are fit enough to walk from the other side of the car park where there is plenty of room. Disabled spaces are great coz a. yer car dont get dinked and b. as the other guy said, they are right outside the shop so you can keep an eye on it. Cool.
As for the 430.....fantastic machine, the Audi, sorry I mean Gayardhoe, dont compare (looks too much like a Toyota Celica IMO).
And Katanga....last time I "saved" for summat It was a scalextric when I was 9....your piggy bank is gonna be fit to bust

There's some disturbing stuff in this thread .. not only the miss-use of disabled spaces (what is with you guys :shudder: ) but also the bashing the 308GT4 is taking .. one of the cleanest styled ferraris of all time and one (to my eyes) which looks better and better with each passing year. Ferrari would do well to go back and study it's timeless elegance before penning it's next car methinks ...

A modern twist on the angular simplicity of the GT4 would be very nice to see...I personally think its a great car...a proper Ferrari in anyones book.

Subjective....
1. 430 Spider looks a bit of a dogs dinner from rear 3/4, with the hood up anyway. Too many clashing lines.
2. 308GT4 looks great. Nice 70's wedge shape.
Fact.....
1. Anyone parking in a disabled spot, that doesn't qualify, is a selfish prat.

Like I said earlier, the war's over, times change . Its great that manufacturers try new shapes. Life would be boring if we all drove thirty year old designs.

If this is a joke, it's not funny. Please work out that some on here have disabled friends and family and these spots are there for a reason. I actually find joking about this subject really sick.
Please occasionally think about others and think yourself lucky you have no disability.

355 Spider, I'm no old fashioned car nut and stuck in the past. Are you referring to my old Beetle thing or the 308GT4 when talking of 30yr old cars?
Just don't think the 430 Spider is a very cohesive design. There is too many clashing lines at the rear. This can be disguised a bit in a darker colour like the one in your profile.....It's the drive that matters most anyway and by all accounts it's great.

[quote=Hazy][quote=trackcar]But take a 308GT4, remove the rear seats, shorten it, give it some attitude and what do you get........
Stratos!
Now you're talking sex on a stick (but yes the Gallardo is pony)
(and re the Pininfarina badge on the 406 coupe, the point is not what the badge is but whether the styling of the car is sufficiently good. In the case of the 406 coupe IMHO it is. But of course it is still a Peugeot of course with all the crappy interior and electrics that go with that, I'm not kidding myself!)
But, for example, I don't think that the Bangle 5 series 'deserves' a BMW badge as quite apart from whether you actually like the styling approach or not there are plenty of basic design errors in its conception - quite a few well respected designers are on record criticising it for this
(anyway enough!, you guys are too easy to wind up, I'm off to start a '993 vs 996' topic on the Porsche thread heh heh!)

20 posts in 12 months and you come on giving it large about designs that you dont like, and then when you realise you have insulted peoples taste/financial position you say it was a wind up?
