....sitting at the back of the shop front was the same very pearlescant 930 ( a little dusty).......things seemed very quiet there, have they moved?
Nope, I doubt it ....it's always like that!!! Not a bad security measure, tumbleweed is probably as effective as a guard dog initially, wish I'd know they were out back I could have gone round to drool
I went to a coupe of the Supercar test days at Combe too. I was pretty young, and fell in love with a Westfield that I saw there, which led me to buy my first one several years later when I turned 16... happy days...
I've got a bunch of photos, but won't be able to scan them in for a couple of weeks. I do particularly remember this car though - I helped push it in the paddock when the tow truck unloaded it!
It's funny to think that so many future PHers were there as well!

Does anyone have any pics of a white Miura SV registration RYY 161K? My father owned it in the 70's and I'd love to see some pics of it. When he had it the reg. was NGM 100M and it later reverted back to its original plate RYY 161K. I know Barry Robinson owned it in the '80s and its current owner has had it a long time. Perhaps someone knows the owner?

I do remember the car, as it was the first SV that I ever saw.
Soon after that, most of the SV owners used to turn up "en masse" at events, so you ended up with about six Muira SVs.
I have found pics of most of the SVs, except yours.
Still loads to look through.
I will keep you posted.
I note that it is taxed, so it is obviously still in the UK and being used.
I expect you have already seen this....

Yes, I saw the above a few years ago, it's a great site, and added the history of the car when my father owned it via Simon Kidston. It's chassis number 4830.

Freewheeler,
Hi, seems there is a problem at Lambopower! I remember a lot of the cars from the events at Goodwood & especially Castle Combe. They were really good days. It seems that you were at Castle Combe around the same time as me. I remember the bright pink Countach very well. Keep the photos coming in.

As promised LC...enjoy
What makes me laugh is that I never took any shots of the cars on track since my camera zoom was too pathetic, as it was I used to 'borrow' my Dad's compact as it was better quality that mine and, almost ironically, it was photographing these cars at this time that got me interested in photography and I now have some of canon's finest L glass to train on these stunning cars but these events and happy days don't exist anymore...(maybe that is just my memory playing sentimental tricks though)...oh well.
In fact if you look at the fourth image down - that's me in my lovely Campari ski jacket (2 tone blue with the red and white arm patches) clutching my first camera - a Honica 110...nice! What you can't quite see is thr drool seeping from my mouth
Still racking my brain to work out if I still have some of my programmes...would I have thrown them out??? surely not...
