Nice shots, snapper seven

I was there that day too. I have found some of my old photos and will try to get them scanned and uploaded over the weekend. I also found some of my programmes. In fact, Lambochick's Countach is pictured on the cover of September '89 Castle Combe programme! Scans to follow in a day or two.

I think I once saw that plate on a fhc E Type in late '80s. Probably wrong.

Great thread.

Love the pics of the 288 GTO. Simply the best looking Ferrari of all time IMO.

I would like to see the pics of the Lamborghinis. Any chance of posting them in this thread?

I went to Goodwood a couple of times but Castle Combe was easier to get to so went there to quite a lot of events. I remember quite a lot of those number plates. They were great events!

I've been busy scanning today, but there's still a lot more to do. When I've finished, I'll upload them to Photobucket and post a link on this thread.

Any pics of G539UYF would be really great, I’ve just bought that Countach this weekend (now on the plate G3 LAM) and have spent this evening looking through the history file. Any extra history on it would be excellent.

Thanks,

TSS

Hi TSS, well done on your purchase, I looked at G3LAM before I bought mine and it certainly is a lovely car. I'm sure if you ask DP at the club he will have loads of photos for you as I understand the car and its owner(nice guy!) have been in the club for some years.
