I have a couple of photos of it at a local event a couple of years back, in the pouring rain!

If you want to see them, let me know. I used to see G3 LAM quite a lot around here.

Hi TSS, well done on your purchase, I looked at G3LAM before I bought mine and it certainly is a lovely car. I'm sure if you ask DP at the club he will have loads of photos for you as I understand the car and its owner(nice guy!) have been in the club for some years.

Thanks targaman. I was going to call DP today anyway so i'll ask him.

was that terry's anniv or keiths? i should have many pics of it at various meets in the 90's.
it would have been cared for extremely well.
enjoy.

Hi andtsv,

It was Terry's car and then the owner before me had it since 2004. Any pics you have time to scan would be great.

Thanks,

TSS

This is one of the best threads I have had the pleasure in reading in a long time.

Keep the pictures coming guys. I love the slightly grainy finish to the pics too, gives it a real period look and it's great to see these proper Supercars being used as intended and great to see the normal period cars in the background shots in their prime too.

Phew! I've just finished scanning & uploading 219 photos, mostly of Carrera Sport days, plus a few De Tomaso Drivers Club and a couple of others, all taken at Goodwood. Please bear in mind that they are 300dpi scans of fairly old photos taken with a 35mm compact camera, so don't expect digi-quality. However I do think they give a good reminder of the feel of the events, and the stunning cars that used to attend. I've still got to add titles to most of the photos, but if you don't recognise the cars you shouldn't be on PH in the first place! Now that I've done all the hard work, all you have to do is just click the link, set it to slideshow, sit back & enjoy.

It's fair to say that the owner of the cars with the AOG plates has had one hell of a collection

Even the Jag parked alongside the purple Diablo Jota in one of the photos was no ordinary Jag. It was a Jaguar Chasseur with (I think) twin turbo's. Peter had to wait a long time for it, as development was somewhat protracted. However, I recall him saying that in the mid-range it would out accelerate the Diablo.
