Yeah, you're right, the tow truck broke down with the car half on it - mechanism had mangled its gears. Literally hours of amusement that was with much scratching of heads from the tow truck guys, who actually did a great job to bodge a solution. Anyway, Countach is back home now. Some sort of electrical problem, possibly the ignition coil. To be investigated tomorrow.TFJJ said:

Northamptonshire so not really local. We just pulled off at junction 20 as we happened to be approaching it when the engine died. Turned out to be the ignition coil as suspected so a 5 minute fix to put a new one in.Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary with less than 100 miles on the clock, saw this reg previously on a Bugatti Veyron.
Porsche 911, I think a 2.4S but I could be wrong.
