Did anyone see, or know anything about a convoy of Aventadors and, I think, a Gallardo Super Leggera in Derbyshire yesterday?
I took my brother down to the general test day at Donington (wonderful btw, including the most gorgeous car ever to my eyes, a 70s LeMans Matra!) and passed a transporter stationary on the hard shoulder of the northbound M1 on the way back. Half an hour later I was approaching Chesterfield when a yellow, green, orange, black, red glory of Lamborghinis crested a rise and passed in the opposite direction, around seven cars in all. The most fantastic and suprisingly sight.

I was behind them for a while when they were stuck behind a bus travelling through Bradwell. Great seeing the look on a small child's face as they went past! They went left towards Hope/Castleton - probably going over Winnats Pass I would imagine. Black Aventador reg was PNG 1 and the red/orange Aventador Roadster was FA54 ION or similar.I took my brother down to the general test day at Donington (wonderful btw, including the most gorgeous car ever to my eyes, a 70s LeMans Matra!) and passed a transporter stationary on the hard shoulder of the northbound M1 on the way back. What sort of time was that? I passed the transporter at c. 4.00 and saw them southbound on the edge of Chesterfield around 4.30. Wonder if the transporter was totally separate and a strange coincidence?LastLight said:

Was driving so no pics but 458 in Jesmond (Newcastle) today in what I'm assuming is that super-expensive darker/flippy/metallic darker red which looks pretty bloody lovely on a sunny day (yes, in Newcastle, it was out for at least 10 mins!!)
Appeared to have black sills on the car tho (carbon racing pack??) - which was a bit odd looking...
