That will almost certainly be a rather well-known gentleman that recently acquired the plate 4 G for his new Phantom Coupe. He also has/had two other G plates with three digits.

This car is a replica hence the name of the event but it had me fooled until i typed the regestration into the checker. Where abouts did you see it?

Yes, VIL 8089 or similar. It turns out to be well known in the replica community. Wins best in show etc. Appears to be for sale at the moment. Spotted in Sussex, but is from 'oop north'. Owner has brought it own for a car show in Surrey iirc. Was accompanied by a blue Dino spider. Wish I'd got a photo of that now too lol

This afternoon at about 3.30pm on M25 heading east, near Guildford/Woking exit, pearl white MP4-12C with black cladding around front end and what appeared to be a blue bonnet. As I was in the outside lane and he was about to turn off the very busy motorway I only got a brief glance across four lanes. Guess this was either a customer car on shakedown or prototype on test.
