Whatever he was jailed for? I am sick of telling the story on various forums, but i will summarize here. Please note and absorb that absolutely All charges against Amari was dropped. And all the charges and accusations were put to his ex wife and financial manager once the truth was revealed.
Now Amari (MD of Sant Agata Cars) has reestablished as Amari Supercars. He is a sole trader and not a partner in this business.
And just in them few words above, there is more truth than any of the assumption that you can find posted on the forums over the last 5 years.
But you know what? What i have just wrote will be forgotten by next weekend

I asked you what charges you were referring to and you did not answer specifically now did you. I wonder who you really are?? You dont put anything down your self about the allegations. Tell us what you know and were you got your facts from. I was told this by him over 4 years ago. This should be interesting.

Whilst looking for my Gallardo I approached Amari, they were more pleasant than most dealers. I asked a similar question on this forum about Amari(at this point I had not heard all this 'Gossip'). I got the usual replies that he was dodgy etc, but without anything supporting these claims. A couple of days later I got a call from Amari Supercars, as they had followed my thread. I mainly wanted to know why they couldnt offer me the finance I was after. I also asked about the criminal allegations. I got an explanation from them about the 'Imprisonment' of Amari. Apparently he was on remand and not convicted. Somthing to do with the death of his brother in a car crash. And this was the reason they couldnt get credit from the main stream banks(Crim record). What I didnt quite understand is, that if he was only on remand, and proven innocent, why now they couldnt offer the finance facilities that other dealerships etc can.
Crikey, with mr amaris back record of physical threats and posting of pictures of people on this thread he doesn't like in what can only be deemed as a 'just so you know I know what you look like' type way I'll think I'll stick with the relative anominity that the name Dr Clarke gives thank you! I only joined on here to find out more about de tomasos and spotted the amari name which rung a bell with a tale from an old colleauge who lost a lot of money thanks to him
surely this must all be quite straight forward to sort out? No one should be the subject of a whispering campaign. If mr amari is on here then he can set things straight immediately. Conversely if others have hard facts then they should post them. If someone has been to prison it is a public fact. To suggest someone has when they have not is a civil wrong which could result in a claim for damages.
So both parties can post hard facts if they exit and end this sniping on each side and give the rest us some peace!

As i said most of the crap about Amari stems from one guy on many forums. And he will never listen to any facts about what actually happened all them years ago. The rest that follow like sheep have no hard facts about the guy and have never even met him. If one was to do a poll of all the good experiences v all the bad ones with Amari. The goods will by far out weigh any bad any one will have. I have always lived by the saying, "you are only as good as your last result"
Oh and as has already been said, PPI any potential car you may want to buy fa crying out loud. Its not rocket science.
Thank you very much for what wrote, and it is correct. I would like to think i have many many years ahead of me in this business and we at Amari Super Cars have and will continue to do our upmost to give the best of the best service we can to all our new and existing clients. Dealing super cars is my life and i have a passion that is just as strong as any of you p/h on this forum. Hello Matt,No it was not me, the people involved were the original owner of the M5 and the client who bought the car from us through p/heads.

But why are the two main protagonists avoiding the simple issues here???? This is simply fueling the post and speculation! I don't think that is appropriate and perhaps the forum hosts should simply ban all parties and close down all postings on this! It is wholly inappropriate to libel/slander ( whatever the english legal term is) another person and in particular to do so annonymously ! Conversely, it is wholly inappropriate to deny matters of factual accuracy and claim innocence of them.
