If the OP is after a Porsche, the answer is pretty simple.

They are not rare cars. There are plenty of examples of 996 turbos in specialist, well known and highly respected Porsche specialists - a previous post has listed many of them.

Go there instead. You'll be buying a car from someone who genuinely knows the marque, which beats a generalist sports car dealer every single time in my book.

One of the reasons Amari is getting a hard time, is because there have been several instances of postings and threads that are obvious attempts to advertise them rather than be legitimate posts from an owner. They have been pretty funny - one of them, about an M5, was so over the top and contained the word Amari so many times, it was immediately leapt on by the PH fraternity and ridiculed for the shameless attempt at free advertising it appeared to be.

Funny though. smile

Lots of people assume that he has a showroom full of stock, so he must be doing something right. Well, yes and no. Mr Amari seemingly has something greater than any other UK Lambo/Supercar dealer right now - buying power. A couple of pals who tried to sell their supercars for cash to the trade in the past 12 months said the best cash offers for an outright sale always came from one company: Amari. However, based on his reputation they chose not to deal.

He has tons of Lambos for sale because he is based in a part of the world where there is Lamborghini Manchester down the road and more recession hit property developers with Gallardos needing cash floating around than I've had hot dinners. Also, if you're a Lambo dealer with a client needing a trade in and the car falls outside your parameters, Amari will no doubt be waiting with the readies to facilitate the deal. Conversely, guys like Verdi, Macari, etc are all SOR merchants - no good to owners/main delaers needing a cash deal. Right now, it's open season for Amari and his cheque book. So, Amari has the stock. But does he have the customer service? There are guys who have dealt with Amari with no issues I am sure. However, neither myself nor my friends are prepared to take the risk, sorry.

And to the poster who said, "just PPI the car, do the various checks, pay the money and drive away". Erm yeah, not always that easy in Supercar World. Remember Richard Lukins? Selling Hpi clear, clean, SOR cars, and then not paying the owner their cut. Nasty...

If I were you, and had a reputation to defend, I would respond to any allegations instead of the above.

Oh yes that. That has been explained to death over the last 4 years. If you do various forum searches you will see. The story is not what you think..
EDIT:: You know i have had another look but i cant for the life of me find the allegations you say are on this thread. Can you please link them for me?

fair enough, i dont really care im not going to be in the position to buy for a gooooood few years.

just interested in how he is operating, if i was dealing with cars of that value i would want to be as transparent as possible, gives customers greater trust and will result in more repeat business.

also interested which tribe he is a sheikh of, or if its just because he is rich, or is he royal?
im from oman so maybe ill start calling myself a sheikh too. smile

Oh so up to this post there are no alagations towards him in this thread. Just as i thought, so my statment stands. What aligations should Armari answer to UP TO this post? Answer...none, its mostly just been a witch hunt after a man that maybe no one has met/delt with from this thread bar two.

Speak as you find - Few years ago was at NEC, think it was Classic/MPH show. It was mega busy with a lot of dealers present, me and my mate where strolling about going from one stand to the other, as one does. Never been one to splash out on my look so it was the usual 'sorry sir your not allowed on the stand' No prob you tugger - move on. Started to have a chat with Amari next - min sat in a SLR admiring the carbon. Nice bloke not stuck up like so many who make you feel like a shop lifter which really gets up my nose, haven't done that for 2 years now!!

All our Lamborghini's are inspected by Lamborghini Manchester, Birmingham & London, before each car is sold it is serviced by Lambo Manchester, and all work is carried out, we even give the customer the option to call Lambo Mc to make sure the work is all done. If we are selling a car on behalf of a client and if it has finance outstanding, it is always settled by us before the new keeper take delivery with a settlement letter. We MOT every car for 12 months regardless of when it was first MOT'd, and Tax it for 6 months & finally a six month warranty By WMS. This also gose for all our other super cars too.

That is why we have such a great turnover with lamborghini's and other vehicle's

thanks
Amari
