All I can add to this is that I once drove from S Wales to see an allegedly fantastic condition F355 GTS that ticked all my boxes.
Once on the ramp I noticed a screw in a rear tyre, the underbody panels were secured with what seemed like whatever size and coloured nuts, bolts and washers they had lying around and there was still masking tape on the pumpkin where it had been repainted.
I drove back home somewhat disappointed...
