Mine too. Idles at 1k, dips to 500ish as the clutch engages then the revs rise back to 1k and off you go.
Same here so according to ruttboy's theory the clutch must be growinghehe

Chaps, it will only pull away on raised revs if the clutch is showing signs of wear.

Having said that, can I take it that you all have the 'F'spec clutch in your cars, and have had them serviced by an authorised dealer within the last 6 months?

If so, then there is a chance that a software update has been carried out on your cars, regardless of whether they are manual or E-Gear.

Ruttboy.

Not sure on spec but if "F" is the sintered clutch type then yes and car is due 15k service next week at lambo Manchester,
I was not aware a manual could have a software update regarding clutch set off action... would like to check this when i speak to the tech.

I have a brand new sintered clutch, unless the road is flat, using no throttle the car will stall on pullaway. I was testing this theory of anti-stall today. Doesn't work for me.

Mine will drive up a fairly steep driveway into my garage without throttle input but will over compensate with too many revs once the clutch is disengaged

I am still trying to master the clutch. I am really conscious of not giving it too many revs, I find I need to just touch the throttle a little. I managed to stall in the middle of a busy high street today with lots of people watching. It was really embarrassing!

if you must... avoid the throttle until the last 5 to 10 percent of travel works for me.

I know what your saying, just I don't time it that well all the time. Never get this grief with my old Suzuki grand vitara!
