Right, Ali,

I've done sod all tonight bar consider buying cars. I thought I'd have a check for a couple of motors you might like. [traslation]A couple of motors I want you to buy[/translation]

I was going to give you each car but the pages are much easier.

Let me start off with a replica P4 Now this one is interesting. It was apparently built by Lee Noble (he of the Noble car for you newbies). I am not one for replicas but getting a P4 owner to sell up is like Tony Blair getting a pat on the back and a "well done" from the general public of Blighty.

The mood seems to be shifting to the Darkside - Lambo.

What about a road legal 355 Challenge with full race livery? 75k Euros or their abouts. You could go for the Gallardo and have this for the track and scaring people at the lights.

Actually, further to a conversation with a friend and some thoughts, I was thinking of keeping the 360 spider, and getting a Gallardo for a few months, then selling whichever I dont like. Gallardo apparently still a premium car, and I can get it quickly so might even make a quick buck on it. Either way, one of them would have to be sold by Aug 2004 (need the cash for an upcoming investment purchase), which still gives me a few months to deliberate which car I dont want.

Like your "Enzo Special Offer" though

If only... if only.

Anyone able to trade body parts?

Gone off the F40 idea, can get expensive if things go wrong, plus cant use it as often as I'd like.

Ali, stop pi$$ing about.

You want a Murky. It's up to you to decide wether to buy new and spec the vehicle to exactly what you want (in the same way as Kev has done with his Stradale and I did with my turbo)and take a large depreciation hit, or source a car in a few years time when someone else has taken the big hit.

Ditch the 360 at minimal loss now. Find an interim car eg GT3 (minimal depreciation, very raw noisy car ) or something else that is different until the "Ninja" Spec Murky with pimp glass rolls out of Lambo London.

Life really is too short. You work long enough hours and you can afford it, therefore do it.

Edited to say Bollox, just saw your comments on the other thread about not being able to drive a proper sized car.

Ali,
yeah as daz says stop peeing about!!!!
Is the Gaylordo from the source we discussed a few weeks back?

I think you are very similar to me, in that you are never quite totally satisfied with a car for long. Ermmmmmmmmmm the same will happen whatever you have but you know that already.

I love my 996tt though even though sometimes it can be a bit boring to be sooooo relaible, quick and easy to use. Why not sell the 360 now as your heart is not in it anymore. And dont replace it until something turns up that blows your socks off totally and you have no doubts about. Im sure you'll be tempted constantly but by the way you ask for opinions on here, you are not totally sure else you wouldn't ask.
Whatever you do, especially if you get the G from over the water. i'll go with you and we can pop to Ruf :-))

Just been speaking to Dom about your dilemmas Ali

Sell the 360Spyder and pick up a second hand 996tt as your daily reliable car which is still a hoot to drive.

Get the Gallardo as your fun pimping West-End car.

Sorted

Don't talk to Dom the badger too much. He will send you into the dark side where cup holders and electric seats are important. Also avoid the Minja and the Manu as they will tempt you into visiting establishments of low morale standards.
