Well after my local Porsche dealer and Porsche GB totally screwing up my order for a new 911 Turbo -
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=83823&f=48&h=0 - I took out a nearly new 575M Maranello yesterday for a test drive. I'm very pleased to say that I will be taking delivery on Saturday 6th March

Still can't quite believe it

Why such a short lead time? Is it pre registered one or are Ferrari making them that quick?

Congratulations,

Stunning car... sounds awesome stock ... but even better Tubi'd.

Had the pleasure of being assaulted by Frosties 550 @ VW last weekend, simply awesome.

Rosso/Crema.. the Ideal First Ferrari colour Imho.

Enjoy

Excellent! It has charisma in spades and will get right under your skin. It does need some sort of sports exhaust though.

Don't blame you for blowing out your Turbo order. I can quite imagine how this would feel, and I would have done the same thing. You *will* be turning up at that dealership in your 575MM won't you?

Agreed. I've not had much luck finding Tubi info anywhere on the net, but I'm very interested.

I followed a 550/575 a while ago, if I could have kept up I would have done, just to hear the noise, there was no way I wanted to go home until I ran out of go go juice.

And a 550/575 with Tubi is probably one of the most glorious sounds I've ever heard.

Despite being a Porka fan the 550/575 would seriously make me think otherwise, and if I was mucked around like you were then it's really a no brainer.

A good choice

Congratulations on your purchase.

Where abouts in the country are you ? Perhaps we could meet up and then you could here my 550. It has a Tubi race setup with no silencing !!! Once you have heard it your order will be placed the next day, I can assure you The guys at Scuderia sorted it all out for me.

I was reading about your story on OC, it looks like you took everyone's advice and told Porsche where to go. I doubt you'll be sorry, it's a very nice car
