Congratulations - I'm sure you'll be smiling for weeks!

I'd be interrested to know if the Fiorano handling pack alters the drivability in anyway - I remember my 550's (one with - one without the FHP) - I found the FHP comprimised the ride quite badly.

Has this changed?

Enjoy!

Fair play Spie, that really is the stuff dreams are made of

Nice move getting the photo as it came off the transporter!

Can't say as it feels just perfect to me. Nice and firm without being harsh

Nice to see someone not afraid to show the reg plate on the photos!

How's the ASR and if you had PSM on the 911, do you find the ASR lacking? I know that unlike stability program, ASR is not meant to be able to brake the front wheels but I found the ASR on my 3200GT to be pretty impressive for just traction control. My memory from driving a 550 was that the ASR was spot on. How's it on the 575?

Too early to tell Andrew. I need to use the car in some high grip conditions which are simply unavailable at present on our salt covered roads.

It does appear to be very easy to get the back end stepping out though.

Owning both RWD and 4WD cars, I have to remind myself not to get on the power too early leaving a corner in the RWD motor. It may be the same for you and that the 911C4 has corrupted your driving! It will be interesting to see if Ferrari eventually go to 4WD (prob>5 yrs time).

Maserati made the move from traction control to stability program a year ago. I'm not sure yet whether Ferrari have done it with the 456 to 612 switch. Anyone know?

Apparantly the 612 Scag has traction control now....

Certainly on the 550M, with ASR on the car would understeer (espeacially noticable at the first hairpin at Bedford and the forested section at Cadwell Park).

Without the ASR - wonderfully controlled sliding (and not so controlled!!) was readily available at the flex of you right foot.

I'd imagine the 575M is even more "chuckable" (with the extra power) - although when I test drove one (without the FHP) it wallowed everywhere.....
