First day with a Stradale

Was that yours that I saw parked on the back of a truck near finsbury square (just past Bloomberg) the other week then? Lush...
Oh, and I've just 'got' the reprofiled front bumper, where the lower sill on the intake projects out more than the 360s; it's an Enzo, F1 cue, a la front wing of an F1 car.

well you'll be happy to know that most of the traders from the Bank of Nova Scotia were taken away from their days work when it passed by! quite a funny sight seeing them all with their faces pressed up against the window...
Kevin - congrats!
Finally, you must be over the moon.
Can't wait to see and hear difference over std 360.
What a pair - Full respect to you and your choices.
996 gone then..?!
Anything planned for Sunday 14th?
I think trackdemon and I might be out for a small Sunday run... any others fancy?

Kevin - waiting for the 612 to arrive before releasing the 456 then? I'm looking for a decent SER package from work then retiring into your GT (as I mentioned at PH 03). (well, I can dream.......).
I was getting quite excited for a while when I read you'd traded down to a 360
You're right of course Kev, I will need some time to scrape up the dosh. Keep me in mind for when the time comes
Will you be able to make it to PF 04? - I suppose you'll be taking the 'little pony' so do you need somebody to drive the 'Daddy' there? (hint )

Hi Kevin, just wanted to say fantastic car - I was one of the many admiring it yesterday at Brunters. Apologies if I inadvertently dribbled on your paintwork at any point! No offence to anyone else but I think you take the "car of the day" award.
The sound was truly wonderful. It was really noticeable the point at which the valve in the exhaust opens. The noise went from merely great to fan-bleeding-tastic! Is it equally pronounced from within the car?
I think you mentioned you're going to try a Tubi, it will be interesting to see if that can make it even better.
Thanks for bringing it along and for giving it a blast even though it's still running in!
Chris

I still don't know what it sounds like from the outside Chris, though from inside it isn't particularly loud. We're going to do before and after checks when we test the Tubi system tomorrow. I have a horrible feeling it's going to be too loud, and I mean insanely loud We'll see...

If you want to go (comparitively) quietly take the 456?
I watched the 5th Gear review of the 360CS recently, but still haven't heard the real thing yet. But from what I heard on that, if the sound it makes is nice enough, people are less likely to be worried about the volume!
456mgt said:It sounds absolutely fantastic as it is Kevin: when those exhaust valves open it absolutely explodes in an F1-style scream.

I'd say stick with what you have at the moment.

Leave it on once fitted.
Its sounds fabulous at the moment but I personally don't think its too loud. From the passenger seat it was fine, and judging by the number of irrelevant down changes we went through on Sunday just to hear it accelerating, I can't even believe your worried at all
Frostie
Kev, very rare for me to ever say keep an exhaust standard...........but in your case I certainly would.
Yes a 360 with a Tubi sounds fantastic, however in comparison with the 355s & 360 at Brunters your CS just sounded so much better, an utterly fantastic yowl, a deeper & more purposeful sound than a tubi'd regular 360. (I'm sure the nice Mr Pistoni would agree )
Sorry Manu

Kevin,
I thought the Murci and the Grigio Alloy 360 sounded good - but then you fired up that engine and screamed down the track.
That sound is sex. No other word can describe it.
It's loud (but not overly so), but yet so controlled and somehow so cohesive. It seemed to fit with the car's character just right, and the exhaust note was full and mature.
The Tubis on the 355s are legendary (and the two on the day were nice), but they are humbled in the presence of your factory exhaust. The 355s by comparions sounded like juveniles on steroids - nice, loud and zingy but ultimately lacking character. Yours, OTOH, had punch and deft sweetness of note - 'twas gorgeous.
And yeah, sorry Manu. :P
So when you gonna give me a ride?
