While wasting away in school today i noticed some kid wearing the most god awful ugly shoes ever. And for some reason they were embraced with the ferrari emblem. They were some type of basketball shoes(i think) being worn by some low life spanish gangsta from what i know of him. Would Ferrari actually shame themselves like this or did some stupid shoe company steal there good name and put it on a awful shoe?

Anybody know bout this?

I think I have seen something similar. Bright red with a the logo emblazoned everywhere?

My only consolation is that at least it's helping to finance the F1 business.

They sound bad. What about other clothing emblazoned with the prancing horse (or Porsche or TVR or any other car badge for that matter) - acceptable or crime against humanity???

Is it better or worse if you actually own one of the the cars???

A tricky fashion question!

there is a really nice shoe which Fezza are glad to put their name to, and i really want a pair !!!

They are from Tod's in London. Nice pair of black nappa loafers with Rosso Corsa stiching and sole inside. It also has the horse embossed into the leather. Lovely pair of shoes

Black shoes with red stitching are nice shoes?

Personally I think LdM needs to get a better grip on what branding they allow to go on.

Walking down TCR a few weeks ago I noted the Acer laptop, a projection alarm clock and a weather station type thing all carrying the prancing horse!

Diluting the brand, or am I just being a snob?

Murph my parents bought me the projection alarm clock for my birthday.

It's actually Oregon Scientific but authorised by Ferrari so its a good bit of kit.

I really like it. It has a carbon fibre effect to it, digital temprature and automatically tunes itself in to one of those beacons so you never have to set it.

The time projects on to my celing and also has the ferrari emblem on it.

Some of the Ferrari stuff is a bit much but some of it is good as long as its not too in your face

Think I might know the ones you mean, even shinier than the second pair?

Totally OT - why are you sometimes unlicensed and then BrianTheYank? You keep confusing me!

Even more OT, do you get Speed channel on cable? They just had the Speed Touring Cars and GT cars on from Sebring last weekend. Great cars and great racing, recommend you check it out if you hadn't already.

Well,

Yes, they were shinier, a lot shinier.

and I sometimes be unlicensed and sometimes BTY because for some reason I will log in as BTY but it will recognize me as unlicensed. Hasnt been happening as often lately so I think it may be calming down.

and, No. I unfortunately dont get the speed channel. I should get it, but my area doesnt even though all the areas surrounding do.

If you want real driving shoes - get a pair of Gucci driving shoes - which look great - only don;t use them for driving as they fall to bits - especially is you heel and toe!
