looks like a good car for the money but i would do a google search on Keighley sports and performance!i think they have a bit of a reputation, but people can change i suppose!
I'm not in the market for a 355, but I've got to say that the reputation of those chaps means that I wouldn't be touching a Ferrari from them even if it had a full history, rather than one with "gaps" in...Caveat Emptor, me old chum, Caveat Emptor
More than one person has passed comment on the dealership to me but hold in mind that as with most forum banter it often stems from one story blown completely out of proportion often by somebody with totally unrealistic expectations.
Add a bit of bandwagon jumping from people that really should know better and a small niggle five years ago makes the dealers look like harbingers of doom.
Objectively speaking, it's an old supercar with patchy history - you'd want to be extremely careful regardless of whom you bought it from.
Let's not go slagging the dealer off on secondhand info and rumours.

Considering it's silver, I'd say this would be the right asking price from a reputable (read Ferrari specialist like Walkersport, Rardleys, Nick Cartright etc) dealer with the cambelt service done, IMO this car would be a good buy at £30k assuming it passes an inspection from a respected specialist.
Happy hunting.

who would be a good ppi-er either hounslow way or keighly? mike @ rardleys? as surely if the ppi showed what needed doing then thats what you would need?
odd that its for sale in both places?
And at very different prices!odd that its for sale in both places?
What is the belt interval on these - mentions last done at 31k? Also both ads say FULL Ferrari history?

A friend done a bit of searching on this car and spoke to the indi who looked after it and done some work on it.
What he was told, that it was not owned by a celebrity but it was a woman owner. When current garage was asked about gaps he was told that a celebrity would hardly clock the car and it wanted for nothing due to her being a celebrity(they also mentioned the old owner was dead and this was why there was a gap for last few years). The indi who had the car before said that the old owner was very much alive and that she didnt want to pay out on things that needed to be done and was asking unrealistic money for it. He was told that it needed about £4k worth of work. Seems like 2 garages are quoting it as a celebrity owned, there was a name mentioned but it wasnt a spice girl.
