Hi chaps,

stopped car & clicked button on keyfob last night, doors locked as usual. after about 10 seconds the hazard warning lights started flashing. The only way to stop this was to lock the door manually with the key.

Will get the car baqck to Mas UK but just wondered if anyone had come across this ?

I'm sure you checked this, but were the boot and both doors shut properly? It may be the alarm was warning that everything was not locked?

Craig, not Maserati, but the Boxster complains if everything isn't shut properly - even the centre console glovebox.

If it ain't that, then its an alarm sensor I reckon. Or could be interior courtest light bulb / switch.

Check everything is closed, if its not that a call to el dealer?

Isn't that the "someones been doing donuts in your car" notification?

it does say something in the handbook about not turning off the traction control in the wet & then giving it full lock and maximum power at about 20mph, maybe that was it, hmmm.

Turned my ASR off too at VMAX - however the brand new rear tyres actually made unsticking the back end a real trial!

On the error front I've no idea, tend to find that I get the odd warning light come on at startup sometimes, each time it's cleard by doing a 'reboot'. (i.e. turn off and on again).
