weird over-run

Hi All,

Tony, Anjum, Ro...anyone....?!

The car has been over-running in a peculiar way and I havent had anything similar.

It's unnoticable when pressing on, but at, say, a 60mph 3rd the engine feels like it's surging, but quite gently (not sudden power change or anything). On stopping the car, I managed to get 3 feet away, with keys in hand, before it stopped! which was kinda dicsoncerting. Starts fine and doesnt actually seem to make any other difference

Anyone got any dieas before I take it in?

Check out your ECU??? - might be worthwhile having a chat with Lee Cunningham (he's a Modena) - and is, by far, the most knowledgable lambo mechanic (and THE BEST driver of a lambo) - bar none.

Without sounding like a paid up member, Modena are now an official Lambo Service Center (Lambo Whyckams I recall) - but Lee know everything (and is in fact grasshopper!)

Mr Nightmare - glad to be of help.

But - can I suggest, when you pick you car up from Lee, get him to take you out for a drive - you'll be blown away. You will never meet a smoother, faster driver in your life - and get him to talk you through what he does - simply awesome.

He was the guy that made me seriously question my ability to drive - double de-clutching, heel and toeing, brake balance - the lot.

Not only that, he will make your car feel like it's brand new again.

Yes - I've been lucky enough to be driven around the sourounding areas of Sant Agatha and around Vallelunga

Awesome - but still reckon Lee is quicker - although not nearly as flamboyant!
